a PA tv sermon

One really wonders with the brainwashing these people go through to produce such thoughts. Not only do they think and fathom such ideas, sadly they believe it with all their hearts and minds.

A sermon broadcast last Friday on PA (Palestinian Authority) television called for the subjugation of all Christian countries under Islam and the extermination of every Jew.

good on Bill Gates

The Gates Foundation has its own approach in aiding with world health issues, mainly that of poorer nations. Criticism of the Gate's approach is not steering the foundation's view in how they can help. I personally think the approach the foundation is taking is a good one. The Gates Foundation is now awarding scientists with US$450 million to press on with the challenges of tackling world health issues.

Birn urged Gates to adopt a broader approach to global health problems than just searching for a scientific solution.

In his speech in Geneva, Gates was unapologetic about his foundation's focus on health breakthroughs.

He noted that some patients with AIDS used to take 20 pills daily, now they might take three.

"Today, we have tuberculosis drugs that you have to take for nine months. Why can't we find one that works in three days?

"Some point to the better health in the developed world and say we can only improve health when we eliminate poverty. And eliminating poverty is an important goal. But we have a different view. The world didn't have to eliminate poverty in order to eliminate smallpox — and we don't have to eliminate poverty before we reduce malaria."

cyber attacks aimed at Japan

I found this to be quite funny, no offense to Japanese folks or citizens of Japan.

"They are not toying around," he said. "These attacks have given us a taste of what role computer systems might play in a real war, in Japan or anywhere."

Having not blogged for some time, it did not occur to me that I would forgot my username, but I did. Good thing blogspot's username recovery service was prompt.
